Travel Ban: One of the more controversial policies of Donald Trump’s four-year term as President was the implementation of a ‘Travel Ban’ on mostly Middle East countries.
The Republican 2024 Platform document states, “We will bring back the Travel Ban”. Further clarification on exactly which countries or visa classes would be included in such a move is not provided, but a post on X by the Trump campaign outlined a pledge to “Reinstate and expand Trump Travel Ban on entry from terror-plagued countries, territories, and places”.
