24 EnglishUSA Programs Visit Merida, Mexico

Twenty-four EnglishUSA member programs traveled to Merida, Mexico April 7-9, 2025. This mission, organized in collaboration with the U.S. Commercial Service and EducationUSA, was a critical initiative aimed at promoting the United States as the premier destination for English language study and short-term academic and workplace programs. The three-day program featured:

• A high-level networking event with regional education agents, school counselors, business associations, and government representatives from Yucatán, Campeche, and Quintana Roo;
• A public education fair engaging local students and families;
• And an institutional visit and student recruitment fair at Universidad Anáhuac-Mayab.

This type of global engagement benefits not only the programs who attended but the  but also enhances the collective visibility and impact of U.S. English language programs across the world.
