Agents, data and promotion partnerships in focus for EnglishUSA

Language provider association EnglishUSA held its annual Stakeholders’ Conference recently, where working with agents, industry data on recovery, advocacy and a partnership with the International Trade Administration to increase competitiveness of the sector were among the themes.

Welcoming delegates, Thomas Tyner, the current President of EnglishUSA and Executive Director of American Language Program at California State University, East Bay , said there were signs of growth and cautious optimism in the sector, and he praised the talent, experience and leadership of those that volunteer for the association.

The opening address was delivered by Neema Singh Guliani, Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS), Services, at International Trade Administration (ITA), who the benefits of international students “giving us different ways of seeing the world”.
