Volunteer Opportunites

EnglishUSA is seeking volunteers from its diverse membership to assist the organization with many of its programs and services.

Overview
EnglishUSA is a mission-driven, strategic-focused organization. Strategic priorities for the upcoming two years include developing impactful and relevant programs/services to serve the needs of members, exploring board governance and volunteer structures, and continuing to increase awareness of the EnglishUSA brand globally.

Volunteer Opportunities
There are multiple ways to get involved with the organization as a volunteer. The Call for Nominations for board members is distributed each fall for consideration for the subsequent board year (starting in July). However, there are other ways to serve the organization while getting to know more about its role at the national level and also networking with peers and colleagues across the country. These opportunities include:

TESOL and/or NAFSA booth assistance
Table Topics Facilitator (PDC and/or Stakeholders Conference)
Presenter/panelist for a monthly webinar
Contributor to online resources and/or newsletters
Member of task force committees
Regional conference (TESOL, NAFSA, local) panelists
