Membership Information
Member Program: Single Site
Member Programs shall be intensive English programs (IEPs), pathway programs, or a set of English support courses and must be (1) governed solely by a (community) college or university; (2) jointly owned and operated by a third-party provider; or (3) owned and operated as a proprietary single or multi-site.
Membership is program-based--all employees of each site have access to the benefits provided. For July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026, dues will be $1103/site.- is located in the United States
- is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), the Commission on English Language Accreditation (CEA) or sits under the governance of an institution accredited by one of the seven Regional Accrediting Organizations
- offers full-time English language instruction for intensive English programs OR is the primary provider at an institutional pathway program for its English courses OR is the provider of English language support courses at the graduate or undergraduate levels
- primarily serves post-secondary, adult students
- is overseen by a person whose clearly defined responsibility is the overall administration of the program including the selection, evaluation, and retention of qualified faculty and staff
- has an established curriculum allowing for the differentiation of program participants by level of proficiency, instruction during stated sessions, and orientation and advising services

- has an established curriculum allowing for the differentiation of program participants by level of proficiency, instruction during stated sessions, and orientation and services
Annual dues for programs are $1,103. For multi-site programs, the dues are $993 per site with a discount on the additional sites (contact info@englishusa.org).

Associate Membership is open to any organization or business interested in supporting and working with English language programs in the USA.
Organizations or businesses that sponsor or provide intensive or non-intensive English language instruction are not eligible for Associate Membership. For more information on sponsorship benefits, please click here.
Partner Agency Member
Our Partner Agencies are educational agencies who would like to promote English language study in the U.S. and look to EnglishUSA members for accredited, quality English language programs.
NOTE: EnglishUSA does not endorse any particular educational agency to its members; the collaboration between educational agents and programs is independent. Partner agency requests to engage with EnglishUSA are reviewed closely to ensure agency is affiliated with standards-related associations and organizations.
Friends of EnglishUSA Member
We also welcome individuals into the EnglishUSA association. If you are a consultant, a freelancer, an independent contractor, retired*, or are in-between positions, you can apply to be a Friend of EnglishUSA at any time of the year. Eligibility is reviewed each year at renewal. Friends of EnglishUSA have access to multiple engagement opportunities. You will be able to attend monthly webinar trainings, access member-led forums (read-only), learn from the bi-yearly EnglishUSA journal, receive discounts on conference attendance and benefit from the networking opportunities with member program personnel, Associate service providers and other Friends across the country.
