Nabil Abbyad is an International Economist with the International Trade Administration who focuses on developing data analysis and visualization tools to help U.S. exporters find the best foreign markets for their goods and services. He also assesses market access issues for U.S. exporters in government procurement markets abroad. He enjoys developing statistical models to assess how trade barriers and policies impact trade between countries. Nabil previously coauthored “How Much Do Non-Tariff Measures Cost? A Survey of Quantification Methods” in the U.S. International Trade Commission’s Economics Working Paper Series. He has an M.S. in Economics from Purdue University.
