Brett McGee is an International Economist in the Office of Trade Negotiations and Analysis. He provides policymakers with information on the impacts of economic and regulatory policies on U.S. manufacturing and services industries, as well as provides industry research supporting the development of trade policies. His portfolio includes Section 301 China tariffs, preferential trade agreements, Miscellaneous Tariff Bills (MTBs), and foreign trade retaliations. Prior to joining DOC in 2019, Brett worked in Peace Corps Paraguay as a Community Economic Development Volunteer. He holds a master’s degree in International Trade and Investment Policy from George Washington University.
