Ariel Foster is the Executive Director/CEO of IELTS USA, a US 501(c)(3) dedicate to growing use and administration of the IELTS test in the United States. Prior to joining IELTS USA in 2014, she had a 20-year career with the College Board as the head of the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) and of Higher Education for the Advanced Placement Program (AP). Ariel helped lead the transition of CLEP to computer in 2001. Ariel led higher education initiatives for AP’s redesign (e.g. Biology, US History) and new product development, such as the Computer Science Principles and AP Capstone. She holds a CELTA and taught English in Prague and New York City. She is based in the Washington DC metro area.
